My Founder Story
The Back Story
My name is Sharon Wright and prior to starting Nurture Consultants I had spent seventeen years in one of the most exciting industries, the world of sport.
Nine years with Nike, working in multiple disciplines, from finance, to the holy grail of Ekin,to managing their biggest accounts. Meeting many of the worlds iconic sports stars along the way.
I then moved across to the three stripes, the adidas group and spent a further incredible eight years,learning more and honing my skills in brand marketing and at an international level as global go-to-market director based in Boston MA.
Amazing as this was, I think I still wasn't fulfilled.
I am a knowledge seeker, an avid learner, I get a buzz from building something from nothing to a multi-million dollar category,product or business. Pairing people with products,services or experiences that enhance their lives.
There you have it.
I LOVE building things.
The Birth of Nurture Consultants
Looking back I think I always knew I wanted to work for myself. Maybe I was holding on for that one big idea so that I could start.
Then in 2018 I realised I did have an idea and a product of value.
My knowledge.
An understanding of what it takes to operate at these unicorn brands. It had given me a wealth of information I was desperate to pass on.
Founders with the passion and drive to get their ideas out there are what inspire me,I want to see them succeed, I want to see businesses grow, make a mark on this world, and become that next big brand and I can say, I remember them when they launched that.
Dont' think you are just a start-up or a competeting brand with a smaller share, believe you are the end game.
The process is the same, regardless of stage of growth or budget, it's your vision that has to be big.
It is how you plan and execute and I can definitely help with that.
